
Communist Party of India and the Communist Party of Vietnam held bilateral talks in Vietnam

The leaders of the Communist Party of India and the Communist Party of Vietnam held bilateral talks in Vietnam last week.
A three-member CPI delegation, led by party's National Secretary D. Raja, arrived Ho Chi Minh city on Monday. Meetings were held with leaders of the Politburo and Central Committee, among others, of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi.
The CPI leaders have been invited by the Communist Party of Vietnam to discuss issues on "further promoting friendship and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries".
The Communist Party of Vietnam was also hosting the Working Group meeting of the forthcoming 18th International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties last week.
