Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla met the First Secretary of the CC Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and other representatives of the TKP at a reception by the Cuban embassy in Ankara.

Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, arrived Turkey this week on Thursday met and conversed with the TKP members at the reception in his honor, which was the first event of his official visit to the country. The first secretary of the CC of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) Kemal Okuyan presented to the Minister Rodríguez two books on Cuba published by the TKP publishing house Yazılama. Rodríguez exchanged ideas with the TKP members on the latest developments in the region and in Latin America.
The leader of the Turkish Everest Expedition 2006 gave the minister as a gift a photo of his team at the summit of Everest with a Cuban flag. Rodríguez presented the members of the Friendship Association with Cuba a plaque in memoriam of the 15th year of its foundation.
Cuban minister is leaving on Saturday after concluding his diplomatic talks.
