Communist Party of Greece (KKE) holds mass demonstration against NATO-EU plans and Greece's involvement in them.

In Defense of Communism news blog reports that the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) schedules mass rallies in Athens and Thessaloniki under the slogan " No to the NATO-EU plans and Greece's involvement". The first one of the rallies took place in Athens' Syntagma Square today.
Masses who gathered at the Syntagma Square protested the imperialist plans of NATO-EU in the Balkans and the Middle East and expressed their solidarity with the people who fight against imperialism all around the World. The General Secretary of the CC of the KKE Dimitris Koutsoumbas addressed the rally and by referring the recent issues between Turkey and Greece and the dangerous plans of the US-NATO-EU in the Aegean and the Balkans condemned the SYRIZA Government for being " a loyal servant of the imperialist unions".
The second rally which is schedule will be held on 6th of March in Thessaloniki.
The International Relations Section of the KKE had released an article titled "On the KKE's stance against the dangerous plans of the USA-NATO-EU and Greece's involvement in them" earlier this Month. The article, emphasises the position of KKE against nationalism and "the chauvinist expansionism of the Greek bourgeois class" referring the developments regarding Macedonia. The International Section continued demonstrating SYRIZA ANEL government's involvement in imperialist plans on the Region and underlining KKE's struggle against al those plans.
The article ends with the announcement of the schedule of the two major demonstrations with the slogans:
- No to the plans of the USA-NATO-EU
- The imperialists redivide the world and divide the peoples
- No to the political line of the SYRIZA-ANEL government. It plays the role of NATO's "salesman".
