Hungarian Workers’ Party fulfills legal requirement to enter EP elections

The Hungarian Workers’ Party collected 26 thousand signatures in order to have its candidates on the elections for the European Parliament.

The Hungarian Workers’ Party (HWP) is one of the nine political parties which could fulfil the prescriptions of the law. The Hungarian voters can vote for these parties. According to the Hungarian law a party should collect 20 thousand signatures (including the name, address, number of personal identification) to become eligible for voting.

The Hungarian Workers’ Party, headed by Gyula Thürmer, collected 26 thousand signatures to have its candidates on the elections for the European Parliament (EP). The forthcoming EP elections will take place on 23-26 May 2019.
