The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, met with the delegates of the 18th IMCWP.

Nguyen Phu Trong hosted 108 delegates from 58 parties of the 18th IMCWP at the Central Committee residence of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the second day of the meetings. The delegates from the People's Revolutionary Party of Laos, South African Communist Party, Portuguese Communist Party, Palestinian People's Party and Brazilian Communist Party made speeches at the meeting with the GS of CPV.
After the speeches of the delegates the Trong addressed and greeted the delegates. The GS, made his speech on the progresses of Vietnam and concluded his words by saying "Unite, unite, unite and more victory, more victory", quoting Ho Shi Min.
The delegates left the Central Committe residence after the shootings of the family photo of the 18th IMCWP with Nguyen Phu Trong.
